First module for Combat Mission: Battle for Normandy, Commonwealth significantly enriches the base game, offering the complete order of battle of the British troops and affiliates. What finally get out of the woods and use something other than the endless Sherman U.S. ... despite very painful and unwelcome bug!
The main interest of this first module for CMBN is to propose two new orders of battles complete (or almost): The British Army and units of the Waffen-SS. There is joy here with the long list of Armoured English (Cromwell, Firefly, Churchill, etc..) And all the artillery of Her Majesty. One notable absence: the famous D-Day Funnies (Armoured Engineering), which includes all the same Crocodiles flamethrowers and other deminers likely to appear in another module. Shabby and disappointing for it! In contrast, Battlefront has included a handful of German armored well "sexy" the Königstiger (Royal Tiger), the powerful Jagdpanther and Luchs, armored reconnaissance vehicle (plus some self-propelled artillery).
